Care For Kids
About
History
Care for Kids is a 501c3 non-profit organization registered with the State of Washington. Founded by Karman Tandon, Brandon Teng, and Jeremy Chan in October of 2006, CFK’s vision is to give kids a chance to enjoy a life without sickness by empowering America’s youth to make a difference in healthcare around the world.
As all three of the founders are currently students, Care for Kids was designed to be led and developed by college age students. Karman and Jeremy are enrolled at the University of Washington and Brandon attends Seattle Pacific University. The hope is that students in Seattle and abroad will realize the impact that they can make in this world.
The potential is unlimited for what a huge number of college students could do. These students have many gifts, talents and avenues to change the world, and Care For Kids hopes to be an avenue and resource for all those who wish to make a difference.
Care for Kids is currently working with projects in Zambia and Uganda, and plans to run more campaigns in the future. See The Movement page to get involved.
